DAJA VU: SOME THINGS ARE WORTH REPEATING.
New York, NY– World Renowned Chanteuse Daja Vu sets a precedent for a new era of cabaret. Sexy and unpredictable, Daja Vu is the secret love child of Edith Piaf and Victor Borge. Come for the songs, stay for the flambé.
What the Press Says:
“Nisenson brilliantly pull[s] the rug out from under us—one minute making us roar with laughter, in the next breath performing a song that will break your heart… brilliantly awkward and funny…devastatingly poignant.” — nytheatre.com
DAJA VU (Performer): Singer/Actress/Pastry Chef made her debut as Franny Hatcher Magee in All My Children. She had a reoccurring role on Baywatch as “Drowning Girl with the Polka-Dot Suit,” and subsequent roles on Law and Order, Mr. Rogers and ALF. Daja Vu has reached tremendous vocal success as backup singer for Donny and Marie Osmond’s Christmas Spectacular, where she played young Donny’s high school sweetheart, Collette. Daja Vu decided to pursue her own music career in the early ’90’s Texas, where she met and married oil tycoon Hank G. Franklin, who encouraged her to stop teasing her hair.
